Missions for a Cause

This summer explore, create and learn something new with these fun missions. Complete three (3) missions and earn volunteer services hours. All missions must be submitted for before 11:49 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022. All submissions will to be reviewed and must be deemed appropriate to earn services hours. Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District Community Service verification forms will be available for pick-upstarting Monday, August 22, 2022, other volunteer forms must be brought to the adult desk for a signature.

Rules:

• Participants must be 13 years of age or older, and not registered for other Yoba Linda Public library Summer Reading Programs.
• Participants may complete up to three (3) different mission must be made out of the eight (8) missions. The same mission cannot be submitted three (3) separate times.
• All submissions will be reviewed and approved for volunteer services hours. Any content found to be inappropriate will not be counted for hours earned. Submissions cannot include any profanity, derogatory remarks, sexually explicit content or violence.
• PYLUSD volunteer forms with earned hours and signature will be ready for pick-up starting August 22, 2022 at the adult desk. Any forms outside of the PYLUSD must be brought to the adult desk to for a signature.
• By submitting Missions, participants and their families understand the library reserves the right to use and showcase submissions for publicity purposes. Submissions may be used on the library’s website, social media outlets, email newsletters, and other media publications to promote library programs and materials.
